Andy Murray defeats Milos Raonic to claim his Second Wimbledon title

The miracle happened when Andy Murray won the second wimbledon title, thus becoming the second Briton to have won multiple wimbledon titles after 77 years following Fred Perry. Murray defeated Milos Raonic of Canada in London today to win his second wimbledon title. The score fluctuations were 6-4, 7-6, 7-6 (Murray - Raonic). This was the first time that Andy Murray was facing someone other than Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer in the finals.

The road was not easy. There were harsh times. Murray won his first wimbledon in 2013 defeating Novak Djokovic, the world number 1.

In 2012, when Murray lost the finals for the fourth time to Roger Federer, he shed tears while on-court interview and said "I'm getting closer". It was that time when he became obsessed with winning the wimbledon. Finally in 2013 he did it. After 77 years of wait, finally britain had a home-champ.

The 2015 wimbledon was won by Novak Djokovic who defeated Roger Federer in the finals. Federer had reached finals defeating Murray, the home favourite and the then number 3.

This year Andy Murray is now the world number 2, just behind Novak Djokovic who has won 3 wimbledon titles and with that 9 Grand Slams.

Now with today's victory, Andy Murray has also become the winner of the Queen's club title yet again and now for the 5th time. Although murray lost the French open and the Australian open to Novak Djokovic but these are all in a haste after today's win.
